Topic: Tour of Nebraska Innovation Studio Community Makerspace (Limited to 25 guests)
Speaker: David Martin – Nebraska Innovation Studio

David’s Biography: I am the director of Nebraska Innovation Studio, a 16-thousand-square-foot makerspace located on Nebraska Innovation Campus. The makerspace has a full wood shop, metal shop, rapid prototyping area, ceramics room, art studio, and textiles room. Nebraska Innovation Studio is one of the few academic makerspaces in the nation that is open to the community. We recently received a $4 million federal grant to add robotics equipment and robotic programming. Before taking the job at Nebraska Innovation Studio in September 2017, I was a journalist at The Association Press, CNN, and elsewhere.
